Our Mission
Our Competition Team trains with excellence, grit, and determination. We are more than athletes—we are warriors forged through discipline, forged through struggle, and united by a shared commitment to rise above limits.
Our mission is to push beyond comfort, to train harder, move sharper, and think stronger than the day before. Every practice, every match, and every challenge is an opportunity to sharpen our skill, test our will, and prove that greatness is earned—not given.
We compete with honor, represent our school with pride, and carry the Rising Star name as a symbol of courage, intensity, and unbreakable spirit. We don’t just step onto the mat to win—we step on to evolve, to dominate, and to rise.
Events
Our schools and instructors offer competition training for Forms (Poomsae), Board Breaking, Point Sparring and Olympic Sparring! We are affiliated with the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) for Taekwondo; we participate in AAU sanctioned tournaments as well as other open and invitational tournaments across Illinois and Indiana!
Our Program
Our Competition Team is built for students who want to push limits and perform at the highest level. Train with precision, power, speed, and strategy in HIGH INTENSITY classes that unlock your inner champion. We have many tournament opportunities available for our students! Competition team members meet on extra days to train as well as normal class.
